Is this an OHM meter?

I met someone once who had something very similar but instead of ends to test air or wall or something it had patches-to stick on your skin. WHen you turned it on you could turn it up so far and i guess it was electric waves that went through you-jittering your muscles and so forth. But when I look up OHM meter I find nothing about this. Is it called something else? Something used for shock therapy maybe?
